DELAWARE FUN-A-DAY: How It Works

Delaware Fun-A-Day is a FREE, all-ages, all skill sets & experience, non-juried, community-centric art project and show. Participants choose a project and produce one piece of artwork every day for the entire month OR work on one project / art piece over the course of the entire month. The resulting work should create a narrative outlining each maker’s journey throughout the month.
Anyone, Anywhere can participate in our show.
You just have to be able to get your project to us - either physically or digitally for display / inclusion.
Participate solo.
Participate as a family / group / business / couple - whatever!
Choose a theme (totally your decision) for the month.
Decide what you’ll make / create.
Some folks stick with one art medium, some folks switch up as they go.
ALL art mediums are welcome. Writers, Musicians, Fashion Designers, Gamers, etc. If you can make something / create something then you CAN be in the big art show. Get creative! Put on your ‘thinking' cap’ and figure out how to display your work. We can help you with your idea.

You must register by midnight the night before Maker’s Month starts.
Whether you’re participating solo or as a family / group / business / couple…. Just include everyone’s names.
You do NOT need to be a Delaware resident to register. You can be from anywhere.
When Maker’s Month starts, work on your project all month long.
Some folks share their project journey on social media, other projects are a surprise until the Big Show.
Stay diligent. You don’t have to hit every day, just keep going and do what you can.
When the Maker’s Month ends, prepare your project for display, then drop it off.
Enjoy having your project in the BIG SHOW.
You don’t need to physically attend the show to be a part of it. We’ll make sure your project is included.
Every project is documented in the show and shared on socials and the DEFAD website afterward.
Pick-up your project when the Big Show ends.
Some folks donate their work, other folks go on to sell or showcase their works again.
